The Associated Press used Palestinian children to fake anti-Israel photos during its investigative series on last summer’s Hamas-Israel war, according to the New York Observer.
The series, released in February, portrayed Israel as “a serial violator of the norms of warfare, wantonly and indiscriminately slaughtering civilians,” according to the Observer’s article.
Among the AP’s many liberties, it described the dead father of a Palestinian boy as a “policeman,” when in fact he was a jihadi military battalion commander.
The Observer also says that the Associated Press got its war statistics from a couple of pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel groups that accuse Israel of being an “apartheid” state.

The AP billed its series as “the most painstaking attempt to date” to determine who was killed in Israeli airstrikes. The report concluded that over 60 percent of those killed were children, women and old men.
Of course that really isn’t surprising, given Hamas’ habit of using civilians as human shields and hiding munitions bunkers inside schools, shops and places like milk factories.
During my time in the lamestream media, it always surprised me that, for an industry in which Jews are well-represented, the Associated Press and other news outlets could be so anti-Israel and pander so much to the Muslim agenda.
President Obama’s unwarranted rise to power, aided and abetted by the media, is a testament to the media’s biases as they have repeatedly overlooked the most egregious scandals for Obama and his obvious pro-Muslim agenda, yet never cut Israel any slack.
Current case in point, the letter sent from Republican congressmen to Iran. The liberal media are all up in arms, calling it a violation of law that Republicans would send a letter to Iran’s leader trying to influence the nuclear negotiations, yet do you hear a peep about Obama’s vow to cut a deal without congressional approval? Of course not. It’s only the hundredth or so time the president’s violated the Constitution or promised publicly to do so. Why care about that?
For that matter, how much criticism did you hear from the Left about Nancy Pelosi’s behavior during Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech about those nuclear discussions, or Obama’s absence during an address by a supposed ally? Or about Pelosi and John Boehner using the speech as cover to carry out a quick and dirty vote to fund Obama’s amnesty?
The media’s pro-Obama agenda is also a pro-Muslim agenda. The Muslim sympathizing has been going on for decades, but it became readily apparent in how quickly the media turned on President Bush after 9/11 and in the numerous media lies about the Iraq War.
These days, the anti-Israel agenda is plain as daylight. It might as well be part of the official AP Stylebook. It’s arguable which is cause and which is effect, but as the media’s anti-Israel feelings have grown more prominent, so too antisemitism has grown around the world.
Many of the people who oppose Israel probably don’t even know why they do it, just the same way liberals have a conditioned response to conservatives. Such is the effectiveness of the media message.
But the anti-Israel forces had better think carefully about the possibility that they may one day get their wish and wake up under a Muslim flag flying at the White House. And what will they do then?
